See who is tracking now (manager)
Want to know who's working on what right now? The Tracking now board shows everyone on your team with a timer running. This article explains where to find it and how to read it.
Managers, admins and owners can see it. Members can't.
Where to find it
- Team page: click Team in the sidebar, then the Tracking Now tab. The tab shows a count of people tracking.
- Dashboard: the Tracking Now widget is on the manager dashboard by default. If you removed it, add it back from the Widget Library.

What you see
For each person with a running timer, the board shows:
- their name;
- the task they're timing (and the subtask, if any);
- a clock that ticks live;
- Paused, if their timer is paused.
Click a row to open that task.
If nobody has a timer running, you'll see "No one is tracking right now."
How fresh is it?
- The list updates about every 15 seconds, and the clocks tick every second.
- If someone closes their tab without stopping their timer, they drop off the board after about 5 minutes without activity.
Good to know
- Running time isn't saved yet. Time only reaches a timesheet when the person stops their timer. To see saved time, use Timesheets.
- Weekly totals are in a separate widget, Team Tracking This Week, which shows hours tracked this week per person.
