Create your account (Google, Microsoft or email)

This article shows you how to sign in to TaskFlow for the first time. You can use a Google account, a Microsoft account, or an email address and password.

Sign in with Google or Microsoft

This is the quickest way in if your company uses Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.

  1. Open the TaskFlow sign-in page.
  2. Click Sign in with Google or Sign in with Microsoft.
  3. Choose your work account and confirm.

That's it. There is no separate password to remember. Your Google or Microsoft account's own security (including its two-step verification) protects your sign-in.

Create an account with email and password

  1. On the sign-in page, click Create account.
  2. Fill in Full name, Work email, Password (at least 8 characters) and Confirm password.
  3. Click Create account.
  4. Check your inbox and click the confirmation link we send you.
  5. Go back to TaskFlow, enter your email and password, and click Sign in with email.

Set up two-factor authentication

Email accounts must use two-factor authentication. The first time you sign in, you'll see Set up two-factor authentication:

  1. Open an authenticator app on your phone (for example Google Authenticator, Authy or 1Password).
  2. Scan the QR code. If you can't scan it, type in the key shown below the code.
  3. Enter the 6-digit code from the app and click Verify & finish.

From then on, each time you sign in, TaskFlow asks for the current 6-digit code from your app.

Forgot your password? Click Forgot password? on the sign-in page.

If you joined from an invitation

If someone invited you, open the link in the invitation email and sign in with the same email address the invitation was sent to. You'll join the workspace automatically. See Invite your team.

What you see after signing in

  • If you already belong to a workspace, you land on your Dashboard.
  • If you don't, you see No Workspaces Yet. Any invitations sent to your email appear there with an Accept button. Admins can also click Create Your First Workspace. See Set up your first workspace.

Troubleshooting

  • "You're on the waitlist" – Your email domain hasn't been approved for TaskFlow yet. An administrator will review it, and you'll get an email when you can sign in.
  • "Your device's clock is wrong" – TaskFlow can't keep you signed in if your computer's or phone's clock is off. Turn on automatic date and time in your system settings, then reload the page.
