Tracking your own requests
This article shows you where to see everything you've asked for, what each status means, and what to do when a request comes back to you.
See your task requests
- In the sidebar, click My Tasks & Requests.
- To see only what's still waiting, click the Pending Approval card at the top. Click it again to clear the filter.
- Click a request to open it.
My Tasks & Requests with the Pending Approval card selected, showing a short list of pending requests.
What the status means
- Pending: waiting for approval. The banner says Waiting for manager approval and shows who it went to and how long ago.
- Changes Requested: the approver wants changes. Their feedback is shown on the task.
- Paused: the approver has put it on hold. The Request Paused box shows why. It hasn't been rejected, but you can't track time on it until it's resumed.
- Rejected: the Request Rejected box shows the reason.
- Approved or To Do: you can start working.
When changes are requested
- Open the request and read the feedback.
- Click Edit & Resubmit.
- Make your changes and send it back.
Change or cancel a pending request
While a request is pending, you can click Edit to change it, or Cancel Request to withdraw it.
If you asked to edit a task that's already approved, the task keeps its current values until your change is approved. To change your pending edit, edit the task again and click Update Request.
Track your time requests
Requests to log or fix time are listed separately. You'll see this link if your workspace uses time requests, or if you have time requests waiting.
- On My Tasks & Requests, click Your Adjustments at the top.
- Filter by status: pending, approved, rejected or cancelled.
- A rejected request shows the reviewer's reason. To withdraw a pending one, click Cancel request.
