My report: your hours over a longer period

Your timesheet shows a week or a month at a time. My report totals your own time over any dates you choose, for example everything you've put into one project this year. This article shows you how to use it.

Open My report

  1. In the sidebar, click Timesheets.
  2. Click the My report tab.

My report shows only your own time. If you're an owner or admin, or you can see everyone's hours in this workspace, the tab is called Report and covers the whole team instead. See The team timesheet.

Pick the dates

  1. Set From and To.
  2. Or click a shortcut: This week, This month, Last month or This year.

The report opens on the current month, from the 1st to today.

Group your time

Under Group by, choose how to add up your hours:

  • Project (the default): one total per project. Time on tasks that aren't in a project shows under No project.
  • Space: one total per space.
  • Task: one total per task.

Click a row to expand it and see the tasks inside. Expand all opens every row. Click a task to open it.

The line above the table shows the total time tracked, how many groups there are, and how many entries were counted. The Total row at the bottom shows the same total.

Filter the report

  • Source: keep only time captured one way. Choose All sources, Timer, Manual, Timesheet or Moved. For example, pick Manual to see all the time you typed in by hand last month.
  • Location: keep only one space, project or list.
  • Task: type part of a task's name or ID.

Show days or weeks

Tick Show daily / weekly columns to split each total by date:

  • For 16 days or fewer, you get one column per day.
  • For longer periods, you get one column per week.

Untick Include weekends to leave Saturday and Sunday out, both from the columns and from the totals.

Save it as a file

Click Export CSV to download what's on screen, with the same grouping, filters and columns. The file opens in Excel or Google Sheets.
